we had our first lamaze class last night. it was ok except i wasn't really prepared for them to show the labor videos on the first night nor was i prepared for the doctor on the film to hold the placenta up like a big bloody prize after the delivery. ack.
we'll have class every tuesday night till july 14th.
was it fun? weird? exciting?
ReplyDeleteit's supposed to make us feel less nervous about labor by empowering us with knowledge but i'm still at a point where i think it freaks me out more - like holy shit i have to do this! it's kind of fun in a way though because we do relaxation exercises for the last 30 minutes of class and then our homework for each week is to take time with our partner to relax and we get massaged, etc.
